Happy Easter!
Yesterday, the city of Seabrook was having an egg hunt so I had Brian take Drew there. Unbeknown to us, even though it started at 10, you really need to camp out there in order to find any eggs! Apparently all 10,000 eggs were found by all the kids by 10:01! Some nice kid ended up sharing an egg with Drew when he got there, so Drew didn't come home empty handed. Drew also got to see the Easter bunny. He wasn't interested in getting his picture taken with the bunny though (I don't blame him, this bunny seems too tall!).
On Sunday, we gave Drew his Easter basket. He really liked the stuffed bear that Grandma and Grandpa Adams sent to him and it took him awhile to show any interest in his Easter basket. Finally he did, and he was happy with the toys the Easter bunny brought him.
After the basket, we went outside to look for eggs that the Easter bunny hid. At school on Thursday, there was an egg hunt so Drew had some experience. He probably came home with 10+ eggs so he was very good at finding eggs! He did a really good job on Sunday too and found 10 eggs! He wanted to try to carry them all, so it was getting difficult for him to pick up additional eggs after the first two! I think he was able to carry 3 at one time, but that was it! Eventually we got him to put his eggs in the basket!
Happy Easter everyone!
