We don't normally have the TV on these days. Apparently even TV as a background noise can interfere with toddlers' development. We've been really good at keeping the TV off, but we usually make exceptions to the rule for sports.
Well over the weekend, we've been watching a lot of basketball. I turned on the TV for one of the games, and Drew was super excited! He acted like he wanted to play basketball with the big boys! Then he went and got his basketball and threw it! Brian and I decided that we needed to get him a little hoop to play with. We bought one on Sunday, and Drew helped Dadda put it together. Drew didn't know what to think at first, but before long he got the hang of making baskets! He even decided to put his sippy cup in the basket!
