Dynamo Game

One of the things I really like about living in Texas is all the sports.  Brian and I are Dynamo fans and lucky for us, they had a playoff game this past Sunday.  This season was the first season that the Dynamo had in their new stadium (BBVA Compass Stadium).  We had not made it to a game all season, mainly because the games were usually evening games and it would have just been too late for us with Drew.  Well!  The Dynamo made it to the post season and as a result they played this past Sunday afternoon so it was perfect for us!

We headed out after lunch.  The day was a little warm (especially in the sun), but it was perfect!  We got to the stadium just as the gates were opening which gave us time to look around the new stadium.  It's a really nice stadium.  Very orange!

We made good use of our baby carrier and Drew eventually fell asleep while he was in it.  He didn't get much of an afternoon nap (the cannon woke him up), but he did get 30 minutes in.  I figured that was better than nothing.  After he had his bottle, he was in a happy mood so the short nap didn't mess him up too much.

Drew was cheering for the Dynamo and we had a great time watching the game in our awesome seats.  And they won, 2-0!  Yay!
