You are an amazing little guy, and we love you so much. We've had another fun month watching you grow and explore!
You have 4 teeth now and I'm pretty sure the 5th one broke through today but it's still hard to tell! Every once in awhile I think you may be fussy from teething, but for the most part you are handling it like a champ!
Your sleep pattern is consistent with last month. You wake up between 6:30 and 7:15 in the morning, take one nap in the morning and one in the afternoon. Then you are asleep for the night by 7:30. You still nap much better at home than at school.
You recently realized that you LOVE bananas! It took awhile for you to get there, but now that you love them you'll eat them any time. You usually get really mad at momma when she throws a banana peel away even if you still have some banana on your high chair tray. I'm hoping we can find more real foods like that that you love as much as bananas. Sweet potato and avocado have not had the same affect. Neither has fresh strawberry, peach or mango. In general, you really like to feed yourself these days.
You are still getting breastmilk and nurse about 4 times a day now. You eat about 7 oz per feeding.
Your explore bug has calmed down a little now that you have explored the whole house. This past month, you've learned how to open the kitchen cabinets. Daddy put locks on them the same weekend you learned this. You get really mad now when you can't get the cabinet opened. There is one cabinet in the kitchen that we didn't lock and when you find this one you act like you hit the jackpot!
You love walking around while either pushing your stroller or your truck. You are good at getting youself unstuck, but when you are tired you get frustrated about being stuck and start crying. You absolutely LOVE it when you come toward Momma or Daddy with your truck and we act like you are running us over. We can get you giggling for minutes on end with this game!
Books! You spend a good amount of time reading your books these days. Sometimes you read outloud and sometimes you just look at the pictures. You love all your books! You also enjoy playing with your shape blocks. You are getting better every day figuring out which shape fits where. It's fun watching you play!
Heineken and Stella have become your best buds! Stella still licks you non stop most days. I think you like this even though sometimes she causes you to lose your balance. You have learned to pat Heineken and not grab (most times). You love patting her when we first get home! Heineken is more tolerant of you these days now that you don't grab as much. You get really excited when Heineken lets you pat her!
