We have been having a lot of fun with Drew. It is much more tiring and challenging now that's he mobile, but the rewards are that we get to do a lot more! Lately he's been interested in the door stoppers. I can't blame him, they make a fun noise. But the cap (choking hazard) of them comes off so we've been trying to keep him away from them. He's also slightly interested in the outlet covers. Thankfully there's not much there to keep his interest. I think the only reason he heads toward them iniitally is because of the color contrast (oh what's the white thing in the middle of the brown wall?).
Two weekends ago, Drew was playing with the laundry basket. I decided it would be fun to put him in the basket and zoom around. I'm not sure what Drew thought of it, but I had fun and wore myself out. Stella also thought it was a fun game. Here we go!
Recently Drew has been exploring all over. He's branching out. The other day it was the kitchen, and this past weekend, he went all the way down the hallway to our bathroom. Quite the hike when you are crawling! Here's Drew seeing his reflection in the stove and dishwasher.
We've been trying new foods too. Most recently we started giving Drew these puffed snacks. Similar to cereal, but they are designed to dissolve easier. At first Drew wasn't very sure of them, but now he likes them! He'll get a few after he eats his dinner. It takes him awhile to get one to his mouth, but he's starting to get the hang of it. Here Drew is trying to pick up the puffs.
Drew was not too sure of the first bite.
Our most recent developmental milestone is that Drew figured out how to pull all the way up to his feet! He was getting really good at getting to his knees and checking out what was on the coffee table. It seemed like it took him no time at all to figure out how to get all the way to his feet. He loves this new perspective! He's trying to pull up on anything that he can now!
