We had a somewhat lazy weekend this weekend as Brian wasn't feeling well and I myself was getting over a bug too.  So today's post is just a random assortment of pictures...

Here's Drew in his bumbo seat (the seat was a hand-me-down from a coworker who has two girls).  He likes to sit in his seat and play with his toys on his activity mat.  On Sunday, I had Drew laying on his mat, and he went to his tummy (normal Drew protocol these days).  It was so funny because he was laying there and when he'd put his head up, he'd be face to face with the duck that's hanging there.  He would give the duck a look like, What are you staring at! and then he'd look over at me and smile.  He did this like 20 times in a row.  Cutest. Thing. Ever!

Here is our latest attempt with the sippy cup.  As you can see, he looks like he pretty much has it all figured out.

When we are holding Drew in our lap, he has a tendency to dive to the side and go to his tummy.  I think he's totally ready to crawl, he just hasn't got it all the way figured out yet.  I think he also has a tendency to do this when he's getting tired.

Not too long ago, my friend, Kate sent us some cute goodies for Drew including this book of rhymes.  I read to Drew daily: before each nap and before bed.  Here we are getting ready for bed.  Half the time when we read, he's either looking at me or he's trying to grab the book.  This night, Brian managed to capture Drew doing both!

Even though, the dogs don't make many appearances in the blog, they are still there doing funny things all the time.  Here is Stella trying really hard to get her ball from under the futon!  She did eventually get it, but Brian had to move a box out of her way first.
