Drew has transitioned into quite the helper. Our main task that he really likes helping with these days is cooking. He nearly has the microwave mastered and his job around the stove (with Momma's diligent supervision) is to either stir or flip depending on what we are making. He likes to butter things himself as well, but that still requires some help.
This time we were making a soup. Drew was very patient while I chopped the onions. Then (before I turned the stove on), I had him put all the onions in the pot. He started out by dropping one piece at a time into the pot, but eventually he went for handfuls of onion at a time. Good thing or we still might be working on the soup!
