6 Months!

Landon,

You are 6 months!  How did that happen?!?

You are such an amazing little baby.  We are having so much fun getting to know you and watching you grow.

You had your 6 month checkup last Friday so your stats from that are:
Height:  26.25" (50%)
Weight:  18 lb 2 oz (75%)

You love to eat and nurse 5-6 times a day.  You are probably eating about 24 oz/day (2 7 oz bottles at daycare, plus 6ish oz first thing in the morning, then 1-2 nursing sessions).  We just started giving you cereal.  You are not sure what to make of it.  You seem to be more interested in grabbing the spoon than eating!

You are still sleeping great!  Your bed time is becoming a littler earlier these days especially if you don't take your 30 minute catnap in the evening, but you will sleep 10 to 11 hours at night. (7:30 to 6/6:30).  Your naps are still irregular, but we can almost always get you to take one long/good nap a day of 2 hours.  Sometimes you nap for another hour in the morning, but some days you still just nap in 30 minute increments. 

You can sit on your own now and seem very close to crawling!  You will get on all fours and have started moving your legs, but can't quite figure out how to move your arms yet.  It will happen soon!

You will chew on almost anything!  You have been chewing a lot lately but we still don't see any teeth.

You like your jumper and swing and are starting to get interested in other toys especially whatever Drew is playing with! You squeal in delight when you see us or when it's time to eat!  You are a very happy baby and also very patient.  You don't cry often but when you do, you usually scream!  You like your baths and kick your legs in the water.  You also really liked the pool! You are active and always seem to be moving!  You kick your legs a lot while eating - such a squirmy!

You are just amazing!  We are having so much fun getting to you know you and see you interact with your brother!
