I had some technical difficulties which caused the delay in this post. On top of that, we have been sick. Drew has croup and Brian and I caught it but in adults it's just a cold. Monday evening Drew started coughing. It sounded like a dry cough. At night, he was having some rough coughing spells and sounded like he was having trouble breathing. I actually thought about taking him to the ER! We made an doctor appointment for Tuesday and when I picked him up from school, the poor little boy wasn't feeling well at all. He was in good spirits but he wasn't quite himself. At the doctor's office, he got a nebulizer and a steroid shot. Both really helped as he seemed to already be feeling better (and breathing better) by bedtime Tuesday night. He had to stay home from school today, but he will be back tomorrow and he is pretty much 100% despite the lingering cough.
Here are some pictures from the last week or two.
When we were in NC, Drew had the opportunity to sit at the big table by himself - no high chair. He did really well with the chairs and was able to get down safely. However, our chairs are taller so he's not quite ready for that but sometimes he still wants to sit like a big boy!
Last week, we decided to get some blocks for Drew. Dylan actually had these blocks in NC and let Drew play with them. They are like over-sized legos and Drew loves them! He spent a glorious 30 minutes building towers the first night he had them.
Here are a couple pictures from last week's soccer practice. Drew is getting better and better each week! Last week, he started to jump!
