North Carolina

Last weekend, we headed to Wilmingon, North Carolina to vacation with some of Mommy's college friends!  We left Thursday afternoon and Drew was again a great traveler.  A lot of people thought this was Drew's first flight since he's so young, but we were quick to say that this was his SIXTH flight!

We rented a house for the weekend to accomodate 4 families - 8 adults and 3 little guys.  It was perfect!

Friday we went to the beach.  The weather wasn't great all weekend, but we still got some beach time in.  Drew didn't like the water because the waves were so large, but he had fun in the sand.

Friday evening (after naps!), we headed to downtown Wilmington.  We walked around, got a few drinks and had dinner.  After that it was time to put the little guys to bed.  The girls left the big boys with the sleeping little boys and went back out for another drink!

Eating grilled cheese and mac n cheese on a fork - yum!

On Saturday, we decided not to try the beach again because the weather was questionable and it was a lot of work to get us all there.  So we checked out the NC Aquarium.  It was a small aquarium, but it was nice and the perfect morning activity.

Drew, there's an alligator behind you!

After the Aquarium we went back home for naps, and then after that we headed back downtown for dinner.  We wanted to eat at the Front Street Brewery, but on Friday there was a 2 hour wait!  So we tried again on Saturday.  This time it was only 45 minutes, so the girls left the big boys there to shop with the little boys.

Dylan let me hold him!
We really wanted to get a picture of all three boys, but this was about the best I could get!  They do not stand still for anything!

We had such a good weekend!  It's always fun to hang out with good friends, share stories and laugh til you cry!  We can't wait until Girls' Weekend 2014!
