Weekend Update

This week we had a surprise in our mailbox!  Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Lusby sent us a package.  We got a little shoe to commemorate Drew's birth and Drew got a present as well.  Drew wasn't sure what to do with the gift at first.  We had to remind him to unwrap it.  He got two new outfits!  Thanks Great Grandma and Grandpa Lusby!

Brian's project to take a weekly picture of Drew is on-going.  Sometimes Drew cooperates and sometimes he doesn't.  When he doesn't, while it's pretty frustrating for Brian, those are the times we a get a gem of a picture like this one:

The Lusbys had a lot of soccer and outside time this weekend.  Dadda played 3 soccer games!  Momma and Drew watched a little of all 3!  While it took Drew awhile to warm up at the field, he had a lot of fun.  He ran around and kicked and threw his soccer ball!  He was not excited when it was time to leave.

For Sunday's game, Drew and Momma went to the park early and Drew played on the slide.  He is a pro now!  He climbed up, scooted to the top of the slide and slid down!  Then he ran back to the stairs!  He also had fun playing with the rocks at the playground.
