More Visitors

This past weekend, Uncle Josh and Leighann came to visit us!  We had a busy weekend, but I only remembered my camera for the boating portion.

They arrived Thursday afternoon.  I picked them up from the airport and we went to Tookies for lunch.  Josh ate his squealer burger in record time - even the waitress was impressed!  After that I took them to Space Center Houston.  They enjoyed seeing the Mock Up Facility where the astronauts are trained.

We decided to take the boat out on Friday.  Brian had to go into work in the morning, but as soon as he got home we were on our way.  We made it in the water about 11.  It was nice to get out early, but rough on Drew since he usually goes to nap about that time!  We all tried skiing and tubing!  Leighann was a natural on the skis even though she was really worried about it!  We stopped for lunch at Boondoggles, boated some more after that and then called it a day!

 On Saturday, Brian had a soccer game so we watched some of that.  It was hot out and we left at half time so that Drew could have a normal lunch/nap schedule.  Then after nap time, we all headed out to the restaurant BJs.  There was an informal Ohio University Chemical Engineering Alumni reunion so I dragged the group to that.  We had some appetizers and drinks and then eventually dinner and watched the Preakness Horse Race while there.
Sunday, I took Josh and Leighann to our nearby outlet mall because Leighann heard there was a fossil outlet store and she needed a watch!  (She found two!).  After we got back and Drew woke up from his nap, we all headed to Kemah.  I like going to Kemah on Sunday to try to beat the crowd, but it was still pretty crowded and again it was HOT!  We walked around the boardwalk and looked in all the little stores.  Then we ate dinner at the Aquarium.  Drew was there about a month ago, but he was even more excited this time about seeing all the fish!  He was running around like crazy and squealing!

We wore our little guy out with the big weekend, but we had so much fun.  We hope Uncle Josh and Leighann come back and visit us soon!  (or even better, move here!)
