The other day, Brian found Drew under the futon. We're not sure what he went in for, but of course he got himself stuck and Brian had to very careful extract our little guy out.
We had a really fun weekend. Drew seems to be recovered from his ear infections and his mood is that much better. This weekend was full of smiles, giggles, and belly laughs. We all had some fun playing ball this weekend too! Drew is really happy to have a little soccer ball. We were also able to watch part of Brian's soccer game on Saturday and part of his game on Sunday!
When I picked Drew up from daycare on Thursday, they told me that they were going to transition Drew into the older room starting on Monday. Drew is the oldest in his current room (er, almost, there is another boy who is a few days older than Drew, but isn't as developed as Drew, ie, he is just starting to learn to walk, where Drew is running around). We think that it'll be good for Drew to be with the older kids again. The main difference we will see is that this room only takes one nap opposed to two naps. While we were in Thailand, Drew ended up having a lot of one nap per day, type of days, but since we've gotten home he seemed ok with the two naps.
On Saturday, Drew didn't seem to nap well, so on Sunday we decided we'd try to match his new daycare schedule and went with one nap. Besides an abnormal fussy lunch time (which was right before the nap), we think it was a success. Drew ended up napping for a little more than 2 hours (but was a little restless/fussy in the middle of the nap) and when he woke up he was super super happy.

Drew spent most of the evening dragging things around the house. He's also liked pulling the towels off the oven rack in the kitchen and scattering them about, but on Sunday he upped ante. At one point, he pulled the kitchen rug into the family room. Brian and I just started cracking up!
Our coffee table in the dining room has a feature that allows you to pull up the top of the table making it idea to eat off of or do work on. This leaves a hole in the middle of the table base. We don't pull the table top often when Drew is awake, but Sunday we did. He loved the big hole in the table and soon the coffee table was filled with all his toys, the kitchen rug and a blanket. Silly guy! He loaded it up and then started pulling things out.
