Trip to the Zoo!

I had been thinking of taking the boys to the zoo before my turnaround starts in a couple of weeks.  It turns out that Drew's best friend's (Tristan) mom invited us to go with them this past Sunday!  We were excited to say yes!


It was a nice day for the zoo, but it started to get warm by the time we left.  I think Drew and Tristan had more fun running around with each other than looking at the animals, but that's ok!  Landon was unimpressed for the most part, but the giraffes freaked him out a little bit.


We planned on feeding the giraffes.  Drew loves doing this and usually asks to do it every time we go.  We got 3 pieces of lettuce so I told Drew 2 were for him, and 1 was for Landon.  Landon thought about grabbing the lettuce until we were up on the platform, then he wanted nothing to do with it!  Drew was an expert feeding the giraffe and did a really good job!  Landon was freaked out and held on to me tight!  He also didn't want to take his eyes off the giraffe.


We didn't see as many animals as we usually do, but that's the nice thing about having a membership!  We can go whenever we want!  We did check out the aquarium this time and that was our first time seeing that area of the zoo!
