Happy Halloween!

We had a really good Halloween.  Drew had a lot of opportunities to celebrate!  The weekend before, we went to a Kids Fright Night at Nasa.  We couldn't get Drew to wear his costume, but he had a lot of fun playing in the bouncy house.  He wasn't interested in candy at all, and all he wanted to do was go down the slide.  He spent an hour doing that!  It was extra fun, because one of his daycare classmates (and according to Drew, his best friend) showed up so they played a lot together that night.

On the 31st, Drew's daycare also had a Halloween party.  He wore his costume to school and the kids went around to all the classrooms to get candy.  Drew had fun trick-or-treating at school.

That evening, we had a hard time getting him to put his costume back on, but he finally gave in once he saw other little kids dressed up.  Brian took Drew around the neighborhood and they trick-or-treated for almost an hour!  Drew did really well saying trick-or-treating and remembering to tell people thank you.  When they were done going door-to-door, Drew helped me pass out some candy.  I think he liked that nearly as much as he did getting the candy!

We went from one day of not being able to get Drew to wear his costume to the day after Halloween, Drew just HAD to nap in his costume.  Silly boy!
