We can't believe that you are 1.75 yrs (21 months)!. It's amazing how fast you are growing. We are having so much fun learning with you and seeing you learn new things! We can hardly believe that you will be turning 2 in just three months. Oh how the time is flying.

You've still been dealing with colds and ear infections so those are recent measurements (9/6/13). You love eating and like a good variety of foods. You are still eating every couple of hours too. Your milk intake has decreased some (~20 oz/day), but you still drink a whole cup when you wake up in the morning and after a nap. You like most fruits still, and really like green beans. You'll usually eat other beans too...the other day you pulled a can of navy beans out of the pantry and decided that would be your dinner. It was your first time having them, but you seemed to like them. Our guess is that your favorite food is still macaroni and cheese, but sometimes it's hard to tell! You are getting very good at using a fork and a spoon. And drinking out of a cup.
You are such a good sleeper. You sleep about 11 hours at night and take about a 2 hour nap in the afternoon. You are pretty regular in your schedule. We are so thankful that you like your sleep and are such a good sleeper. You don't even fuss when it's nap or bedtime. You just start your routine and are happy to lay in your crib with your blankets, stuffed animals, pillow, and book.
You are wearing 18 months shorts and 2T shirts. You were actually able to wear 12 months clothes up until just a few months ago. You are a size 5 (almost 5.5 or 6 though) shoe.
You are talking up a storm. You repeat a lot of what you hear Mommy and Daddy say as you try to learn new words. You are saying a lot of two word combinations and a rare three word combo too. "Stella, no" "more please" "more milk" are some of your more common phrase as well as "My ____" with the blank being whatever it is that you are playing with at the time (hoop, ball, etc). It's so adorable when you say Heineken.
You still love reading. You also like to sweep, mop, and drive your truck around. You also have a lot of fun when we pile up blankets and pillows and let you jump on them. You love giving the dogs chewies and will say "good" after they do their trick. You are learning colors! You have mastered yellow, red, green, blue and pink. When we ask what color something is, if you aren't sure, you'll whisper which is pretty much the cutest thing ever. You are also starting to learn your ABCs and numbers. You love your ABC book right now. You also love watching Cat in the Hat and would probably watch it all day if we let you, but we try to limit it to two episodes per day max.
Helping is probably your favorite hobby. We can get you to do almost anything if we ask, "Will you help me with this?" You are exceptionally good at helping with laundry and unloading the dishwasher. You are also pretty good at helping make your dinner. You like to try to do everything yourself. Sometimes you can, but other things you aren't quite ready for. You will climb into your carseat, but you also like to try to buckle yourself in. You get frustrated when you can't get it, but this is even hard for Mommy too!
Drew you are such an amazing little boy. You are so clever and smart and sweet. You give the best kisses and hugs! Watching you grow and develop is so amazing. It's so wonderful to see you figure things out and watch you learn.
