Hyper

We had a busy and fun weekend!  Drew seemed to be in a good mood and fairly hyper for the weekend.  He still likes sweeping, but this weekend he decided he needed to be standing in the laundry basket while sweeping for some reason.  Silly kid.

Saturday was Drew's last soccer practice.  He did really well. It was really awesome to see how much he improved in eight weeks.  He uses his hands a lot less now and he has learned how to dribble.  We don't plan on continuing the soccer practice until next spring or next summer though, because next up we want to have him take swim lessons which will start in September.

After soccer practice, we picked up our friends' son, Peyton.  We watched Peyton for a couple of hours Saturday afternoon.  This was the second time we had the chance to watch Peyton.  Drew did not seem to like it the first time (jealous!), but this weekend he did really good.  He shared some of his toys (some of the time) and was a very big helper when it was time for Peyton's bottle.  The boys had fun playing together!  This was the only picture I managed to take.

Saturday evening we ended up going to Galveston for a friend's art show.  We went early and had dinner and then went to the show.  We started a little later then we wanted, so it was a late night for Drew, but he was a trooper!  He did really well at dinner and enjoyed pushing his stroller from the restaurant to the art show (couple of blocks).  He wanted to keep pushing the stroller once we got inside, but it was too crowded for that.  We had to carry him while we were looking at the art, but he still did pretty well, although he was ready to go after a short time!

Sunday was the height of Drew's hyperness.  The kid was running around all day being super silly!  For some reason, he also decided to play with a box and was running around with it on his head!  Silly kid!  It was a great weekend though!
