Busy Weekend!

We had a busy, but fun weekend!  On the way home from daycare on Friday, Drew and Momma stopped at the Seabrook park.  Drew hasn't been playing outside at daycare, so I figured he was due for some climbing/jungle gym time.  Unfortunately, it had rained pretty hard the night before so there were still puddles at the park.  That didn't stop us though.  Drew spent most of the time playing in the puddle that was on the big slide.  He had fun splashing in the puddle!

When we got home, he decided to try out his sunglasses.  We have been trying to get Drew to wear sunglasses for awhile when we are outside, but he wasn't into it.  Finally on Friday he tried them on and kept them on.  He had fun putting them on and taking them off and was getting good at it!

On Saturday, Drew and Momma met some friends at a water park (a real water park, not a puddle-ridden park!).  It was a pool specifically for toddlers.  The deepest the pool was was about 1.5 ft in the middle and at the edges it was only 6 inches deep.  Then there were slides and toys around the pool to play on.  A couple of the slides were too big for Drew, but there was one small slide that we found.  The first time Drew went down, he was practically on his back (fast slide!). I thought maybe he didn't like, but he got up and went right around to the stairs and went again!  He got the hang of it and was able to go down sitting.  Drew was having so much fun he didn't want to get out of the pool!  But we ended up leaving for lunch.  It worked out because the pool was getting more and more crowded and with some older rough kids!

When we got home from the pool and lunch, Drew and Dadda spent some time playing ball inside the house.  We had another small rain shower come through so they had to play inside!  Drew wore himself out though!
