St Patrick's Day Races

Brian signed up for the Seabrook Lucky Trails marathon this year, and then the half marathon the following day. (Lots of miles!). We decided we'd take Drew to the fun run that kicked off the event! It was a 1k race. Drew did great and got a medal at the end of it.

Saturday, we got up and since we left the house when we were supposed to, we stopped for donuts before finding our spectating spot for Brian's marathon. We found a good spot to watch, as it was right next to a playground, bathrooms and a start of a loop so we saw Brian run out and back in (and the whole course was a loop that he ran 4 times) so we saw him run by 8 times! After the 3rd loop, we packed it up and headed toward the finish line!

Sunday was more of the same. We went to the same spectating spot and watched the first lap before heading to the finish line to cheer Brian on! He did great, and I can't believe he ran 39 miles in like 28 hours (also I think he's kinda crazy).

On your marks!

Almost done!

Proud of his medal
