Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! This Easter was a special one for us as Boppi and Papa came to visit! We had a very busy weekend too!

Drew started his second set of swim lessons on Wednesday. Then he decided to stay up late and go with Mommy to pick up Grandma and Grandpa at the airport. 

Thursday, we painted Easter Eggs in the morning! Both boys did really well! Landon wanted to color all the eggs yellow, which is apparently his favorite color. Drew was a lot more patient this year with the coloring and made a really cool looking egg that had every color on it!

Friday was a laid back day for most of us because Mommy had to work. The boys had a lot of fun playing with Grandpa and Grandma though.

Saturday morning we went to the city's Egg Hunt which we have done for the last few years. It was quite crowded this year, but still a successful event. The boys were in different areas this year due to their age so Daddy took Landon and Mommy stayed with Drew. Both boys ended up getting a lot of toys/eggs! After we gathered eggs, we saw the Easter Bunny. Drew ran right up to the bunny, but Landon was not so sure. He would not get close to the bunny.

After nap time on Saturday, we were able to get the boat out (apparently no pictures though!). It was a little chilly, but not too awful. Brian even skied (because he's crazy, the water temperature was probably 63F). It was our first boating outing of the season so it was nice to get out even if it was a little chilly.

On Sunday, once we woke up we started looking for eggs! Both boys found a lot of eggs, and were pretty adept at finding them! The Easter bunny hid quite a few too! Later in the day our friends came over for Easter dinner and for some play time! The kids all had fun playing and eating together! What a great weekend!!
