Christmas

This year, Christmas was quite the busy season for us! Grandma and Grandpa Adams came to visit for the season. It was very fun to have Papa and Boppi (as Landon has renamed them) around for two weeks.

Our new tradition is to have the large dinner Christmas Eve instead of on Christmas. Mama needs a day off from the kitchen and that day is Christmas!! Our friends, Kris, Darcy, Tristin, and Kaylee came over for dinner on Christmas Eve too as well as Darcy's parents. It was so fun have all the kids running around and having a lot of fun! They even exchanged presents with each other. Super cute.

After our friends left, we got ready for Santa by putting cookies and milk out and some carrots out for the reindeer. Drew was on his A game Christmas Eve and remembered the carrots, otherwise the reindeer wouldn't have gotten a snack!

Somehow we managed to get a family picture! Christmas miracle.

The boys slept in a little longer than usual on Christmas day. Must have been all the excitement from the night before! Landon was not really into the opening presents thing until after breakfast. He apparently was starving and Landon is all about food.

Santa left an easel for the boys, and they loved it! One side is a chalkboard and the other side is a dry erase board, but we mainly use that for painting. It's perfect for both the boys!

Again this year, we had to take an intermission to eat breakfast. There were just sooo many presents, and we can only open them so fast. The boys didn't mind because they were having so much fun playing with all the new toys.

After the excitement faded some, Landon took a nap, and everyone else watched Drew's new movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. None of us had seen it before, but we all loved it. I think the adults laughed a lot more and enjoyed it a lot more than Drew did though.
