Today you are 1 year old. This past year has gone sooooo fast!
You weigh 23 lb 11 oz and are 30.5 inches tall!
You are almost walking! You have taken a few steps on your own walking between Momma and Dadda, but you haven't taken off quite yet. You will zoom if one of us is holding your hand though.
The last month, Momma weaned you from breastfeeding, but you've still been getting some breast milk as we had quite the stash built up. We will finish our current formula and then you'll be ready for whole milk! You drink about half your milk from a sippy cup now and we had no issues transitioning. Although now you get mad if it's water in your sippy cup because you were expecting milk. You will also drink your milk any temperature. You really don't care as long as it's in your hands!
You are still a great eater. You try and eat everything. Too much to even list as we've started giving you more and more combination foods. Your favorites seem to be pouches (which you can feed yourself), banana, avocado, cheese and any of the baby snacks (melt, crunchies, puffs).
You are a great night-time sleeper, but still struggle with naps. You are still napping twice a day usually about 1.5 hrs each nap if you are at home. If you are at daycare, you rarely sleep a full hour for nap. You are ready for bed about 6:30 pm and usually wake up around 6:30 am. You sleep through the night unless something is bothering you (most recently it was an ear infection).
You have 4 teeth (2 top, 2 bottom) and they are the cutest teeth.
You are silly and love to play. You love to get your neck tickled so you will often throw your head back to expose your neck. You love raspberries - to give them and receive them! You love your taggie blanket and have started carrying it around with you especially when you are tired. You are snuggly especially when you are tired. You like to read books and you like to explore. Most recently your favorite activity seems to be throwing out all the Tupperware in the drawer. You get super serious when you do this like it's your one and only job.
You are pointing now and are very vocal when you want something or are unhappy with something. You protest loudly when something's taken away from you. You love your brother and always give him the best smiles. You still make these funny faces where you squish up your nose and lips and it's adorable.
You are very independent. You like to play and explore on your own most of the time. You do like playing with Drew too! You seem to only want Momma when you are tired or hungry. You have started showing interest in the TV especially when there is a song or music on (like the Cat and Hat theme song or any song from Frozen).
