11 Months!

Landon!

You are 11 months!  We can hardly believe how fast these 11 months have gone.  You are getting so big!

You are such an adorable little boy and generally so happy!  You LOVE food too.  There hasn't been much (maybe anything) that you won't eat.  Momma is still breastfeeding you, but has started the weaning process.  On the weekends, you get one "bottle" actually in a sippy cup.  The first time, you had a confused look on your face, but once you realized it was milk, it didn't bother you at all.  You are drinking about 24 oz a milk a day (4 eating sessions).  You are eating 3 meals and usually a late afternoon snack.  You have eaten everything!  Banana, mango, raspberries, strawberries, eggs, turkey, chicken, bread, cheese, pasta, avocado, corn, green beans, peas, beans.  You've even eaten some combination foods and generally don't have a problem with those either.

You are still a good sleeper, but not the best napper, especially at daycare.  You sleep from about 7 pm to 7 am, and then take 2 naps.  At daycare, those naps are only about 1 hour, but at home each nap is usually 1.5 hrs and sometimes 2 hours.

You are so happy.  The only time you are mad (and when you are mad, you are screaming) is when you are waiting to be fed.

You are learning so much!  This past month you started waving and signing hungry!  You aren't quite walking on your own, but it won't be much longer as you run around with your push toys all around the house.  You like to be on the move.  You are saying momma and dadda but not much else even though you "talk" a lot.  You are a very vocal little guy.

You have 3 teeth!!  The third one just popped through today, and number 4 will pop through any day as well. 

You love your brother and he always makes you smile and laugh.  You like to be tickled and your toes and neck are especially ticklish.  You also enjoy getting raspberries on your belly!

You like reading books and will flip through books on your own now.  You also really like ducks, balls, and the pop up toy.  You are an explorer and have opened every drawer and cabinet in the kitchen that you can reach.  You like to throw the towels out and the placemats out especially.

Landon you are such a little joy!  You are extremely happy and are so easy-going!  We are having so much fun getting to know your personality and watching you grow and learn new things every day!
