7 Months

Dear Little L,

You are 7 months!  Holy moly, time is going so fast!

Here are your stats (from 9/9):
Weight: 18 lb 6 oz
Height: 26 inches

You are eating solids fairly regularly now, and we just started giving you breakfast too (so now it's solids 3 times a day).  In addition to the solids, Mommy's still breastfeeding you about 5 times a day (or 3 6-7 oz bottles + 1 or 2 nursing sessions a day).

With the exception of last week, you are still a good sleeper.  Something has been bothering you for the last week or so and you have not slept good at all.  Hopefully it passes soon!  Mommy was used/spoiled to her uninterrupted sleep!  Your naps are still irregular, although they are trying to get you on a schedule at daycare.  We just go with the flow on the weekends and figure once daycare gets you into a routine, we will follow suit.  You usually nap better at home anyway.

You are very good at sitting on your own now and often prefer that to you being laid down on the floor.  You can sit for quit awhile at your activity mat looking at and chewing on your toys.  You are still not crawling yet although you seem so close.  This is part of the reason you like to sit over being laid down, you get pretty frustrated on your belly since you can't crawl yet.  You can still move some though and are doing the worm to get to things just out of your reach.

You are still toothless!

You have recently developed an attachment to your taggie (your little blanket with tags).   You like this now when you sleep and have occasionally fallen asleep with it over your face, silly guy.  You love chewing on tags, so this blankie is the perfect thing for you.

You are all smiles and giggles these days (even when you aren't feeling well!) and it's so wonderful and great.  You are so much fun to be around.  All three of us enjoy making you smile and laugh!  We can't wait to see what the next months brings us!! (Maybe a crawler and a tooth or 2????)
