Drew and Mommy went on a Nature Walk/Mommy and Me class a few weeks back. We learned about turtles, so it was neat when they had 2 live turtles that we could see up close and touch. Mommy's highlight was when we walked past the pond, and we saw the alligator!
Drew is still in the phase where he doesn't want his picture taken. We don't press it too much because if we did, it would likely lead to tantrums. I snuck him in this one by saying I was only taking a picture of Daddy and Landon. He wasn't happy when he looked at the picture and saw that he was in it too.
Drew is starting to go pee-pee on the potty. He still isn't too interested in it, especially when he's busy playing, but for the last week he's gone almost every night before bed. I started a sticker chart for him too, and the stickers are providing a lot of motivation. We haven't pushed it too much, but are just starting to ask him more and more if he wants to use the potty.
Landon is getting more and more smiley (and bigger and bigger). For the most part, he is always happy, but is starting to get fussy when he gets tired. His naps are becoming longer and more regular, but now it seems a little harder for him to fall asleep during the day. He's still doing really good though. And he's sleeping perfecting at night (lately, his shortest stint at night has been 7 hours and usually he's going 10).
